Alexandru Ardei is a consultant specialized in transfer pricing and international taxation, with over 12 years of experience in Romania and the United Kingdom, including 7 years within Big4 firms. He currently serves as Senior Manager at Global Tax and Business Advisory (GTA Tax), where he coordinates complex projects in the field of transfer pricing documentation, profit allocation to permanent establishments, and tax audit defense.

Throughout his career, Alex has been involved in large-scale assignments for multinational groups across sectors such as oil & gas, pharma, retail, IT, and FMCG, providing both compliance and strategic advisory services. His expertise covers the preparation of transfer pricing files, functional analyses, and the development of tax and transfer pricing policies tailored to each client’s operating model. He also has extensive experience in negotiating with tax authorities, managing transfer pricing disputes, and supporting companies in advance pricing agreement (APA) procedures—both unilateral and bilateral—ensuring consistency across multiple jurisdictions.

Before joining GTA, Alex held roles within Big4 firms and independent advisory practices, combining a technical background with hands-on project management. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

Alex is recognized for his pragmatic approach and focus on turning OECD principles into practical business solutions, helping companies manage tax risks and align local operations with global objectives.
